Overview:
The Peoria Area Sports Commission (PASC) has been formed as a standing committee of the Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in order to provide coordination and support to existing sporting events and to attract new events to the Peoria Area. Counties represented by the Bureau include Bureau, Fulton, Mason, Peoria, Marshall, Stark, Tazewell and Woodford. The goal of the Sports Commission is to promote the area as a center for amateur and professional sports activity, thereby enhancing the area’s leadership role in the state and contributing to the area’s economic development.
Among the many groups that make up the PASC are volunteers dedicated to the success of all sporting venues in our area. Our monthly meetings can provide you with an excellent opportunity to network with other successful event coordinators as well as potential sponsors and local businesses.
The PASC purpose is to assist and support existing sporting events and bring new events to the area.
In an effort to seek new promotional opportunities, any individual can contribute to the future success of sporting events in the area by having the chance to be heard and to make a difference during these meetings.
The Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau will assist you by offering a variety of different sporting facilities as well as providing excellent services such as event registration, housing, sponsorships and networking opportunities, such as our Peoria Area Sports Commission.

attract new events into the area with a focus on youth events. To promote the area as a center for youth, amateur and minor league professional sport
activities enhancing the area’s leadership role for youth sports with an
emphasis on family events.
