From November 20–22, 2025, the Big Picture Peoria Film Festival returns to Downtown Peoria, celebrating the creativity and vision of local and regional filmmakers. The three-day festival features a locally produced feature film, short film showcases, family-friendly screenings, and an awards ceremony—all at the Peoria Riverfront Museum’s Giant Screen Theater.Each screening includes about 90 minutes of short films, followed by an engaging Q&A with the filmmakers, giving audiences a behind-the-scenes look at their creative process.
New this year, the Film Festival will feature live music by local performers while guests wait for the screenings to begin.
