Last month, our taproom manager, Bre, joined more than 50 women and non-binary individuals from all roles in the local brewing industry at Miskatonic Brewing Company in Darien, IL for the annual Pink Boots Society Collaboration Brew Day ... and now it’s time to drink the beer they made with a release party at Bust'd Brewing!

Every year, with the support of Yakima Chief Hops, Pink Boots Society members from across the world participate in an annual hop rub to select and vote on a hop blend to be used in the Collaborative Brew Day beer. Once the blend is decided (this year’s blend featured YCH HBC 638, El Dorado®, Ahtanum®, and Idaho 7®), local PBS chapters get together to brew a recipe of their choice -- this year, Chicago's chapter decided fittingly on an Irish Red Ale for a March release.
