Matt Miller is a country singer and songwriter originally from central Illinois. Artists such as Eric Church, Dallas Moore, Chris Stapleton, Waylon Jennings, Travis Tritt, Kendall Marvel, and Johnny Cash have largely influenced Matt’s songwriting, giving it a southern rock edge that sets it apart from anything else. Matt has been singing and playing in different bands since his teenage years, but decided in 2015 it was time to launch his solo career. His first album “Good Times” was released in June of 2017, and is available everywhere (iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, and more). With a growing demand for a full band, Matt put together a group of “A-list” players to accompany him at bigger events and festivals. Matt's soulful yet raspy tone will leave you wanting more. From rockin’ country ballads to songs that relate to everyday life, Matt is a true story teller.
Matt has recorded multiple songs/albums in Nashville at places such as Sound Stage Studios, Ronnie’s Place, and Dark River Studios. His singles “Good Times” and “The Drinkin’ Song” are being aired on Nash FM (Cumulus Media) radio stations worldwide. Matt is taking the nation by storm with his own sound.
Matt has toured with and been direct support for many national acts such as Frankie Ballard, Trace Adkins, Shooter Jennings, Cody Jinks (multiple times), Dallas Moore (multiple times), Joe Diffie (multiple times), Laurie Morgan, Rye Davis, Clay Walker, Parmalee, Adam Warner, Drew Baldridge, Framing The Red, Ben Miller Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Eskimo Bros, Chicago Farmer, and many more! In addition to that, Matt has already secured dates in 2020 with some of the best in the biz such as Dallas Moore, Billy Don Burns, Whey Jennings, and more! (TBA soon). Matt has traveled all over the U.S. to play at venues such as Duke's Indy, Checkered Flag Tavern (Indy), The Backroom Lounge (Riverton, IL), Tailgate N’ Tallboys festival (Peoria & Taylorville, IL), George Jones Museum (Nashville), The Wheel (Nashville), Laylas (Nashville), Twisted Spoke Saloon (Pekin, IL), and Monarch Music Hall (Peoria, IL) just to name a few!!
