The full day celebration starts with the second annual "Pekin Appreciates It’s Volunteers" community picnic, followed by the Bicentennial Downtown Street Fair.
Community Picnic
The community picnic will offer lunch to anyone who has volunteered anywhere in our community. Last year we filled the 400 block with tables and chairs and gave away almost 300 lunches to our local volunteers.
Street Fair
The street fair will feature street performers, a performance stage, kids art show, a QR code walking tour of downtown buildings, recreation of the photo with the banner and Pekinites, carnival games, beer tent and food trucks.

11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
