The leaves are starting to change colors and you can smell pumpkin spice in the air which means spooky season is here!  Get ready to scream at these seven haunted attractions in the Greater Peoria area:

Aura Haunted House in Bartonville from September 26 to November 2—Located in the old Bartonville State Hospital and was once a psychiatric hospital operated by the State of Illinois from 1902 to 1973. Completed under the direction of Dr. George Zeller as a “cottage system plan” of 63 buildings. This location is truly haunted!

Blood Moon Manor in Forest City from September 26 to October 31—Feed your fears in this "old school" IN YOUR FACE haunted attraction! This Haunted Attraction is the main fundraiser for the Forest City Park Development Committee. All proceeds from Blood Moon Manor go to local community charities.

Old State Mine Haunted Trail in Bartonville from September 27 to November 1—the Old State Mine is located in the woods of the Bartonville asylum. Based on the legend of an old mining village that was overtaken by an evil entity known as Doom.

Spider Hill Haunted Attractions at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe from September 26 to November 1—Spider Hill Haunted Attractions features Paranormal Investigations, along with the 8,000 square feet of massacre mansion and a long and winding trail of terror!

Spook Hollow Haunted House in Marquette Heights from October 10-25—Spook Hollow is an award-winning haunted house and the longest-running “outdoor haunted attraction” in the state. Experience the “Trilogy of Terror”.

Wildlife Scary Park at Wildlife Prairie Park in Hanna City from October 10-26—Celebrate the 40th anniversary of this spooktacular experience, complete with haunted hayrack rides, the Hazmat Horror Haunted House, Wild Woods Laser Tag, a Carn-Evil with rides, and more. This event is designed for all ages, and efforts have been made to make paths, trains, and amenities more accessible (ADA train car, smoother walking paths).

Vibe Haunted House in Creve Coeur from October 3-25—At the edge of town stands a structure the locals won’t speak of after sundown. To outsiders, it looks forgotten, just another abandoned building lost to time, weathered, and neglected. But to those who grew up nearby, it has a name: VIBE. Most think it’s just a nickname. Few realize it's an acronym, whispered decades ago by those who first noticed something was wrong: Voices Inside Beckon Enigmas.
