Grab your work gloves and help spruce up the park you love. During our busy season, we host Volunteer Workdays at least once a month to help care for and maintain areas across our 1,800-acre park.
No experience is necessary, and there is no ongoing commitment required. Sign up for as many Volunteer Workdays as you’d like. We welcome individuals ages 18 and older, as well as minors accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Know Before You Arrive
Please plan to:
- Arrive 15 minutes before the Volunteer Workday begins
- Enter through the Ticket Gate and meet at the designated location
Dress and prepare appropriately:
- Dress for the weather
- Closed-toe shoes are required; long pants are recommended year-round
- Wear sun protection (hats, sunglasses, etc.)
- Bring sunscreen and insect repellent
- Bring water to stay hydrated
- Bring your own work gloves
- If possible, bring rakes or shovels
