Fort Creve Coeur is a historical re-creation of the winter, 1680, quarters of the French explorer LaSalle, who went on from this site to explore the Mississippi River. There are interpretive events featured at the site a couple of times a year.
Amenities include a museum and gift shop, two pavilions, an RV park and campground, a kids' playground, hiking trails, and an herb garden.
