Located in Marquette Heights, Independence Park is made up of beautiful woodlands and meadows that are bordered by Route 29 on the West, I-474 on the North, and LaSalle Blvd. on the South.
With an abundance of plant life, flowers, and wildlife, you may encounter deer, foxes, beavers, muskrats, and over 80 species of birds.
"Indy", as this trail system is affectionately known, sports 12 miles of fantastic singletrack. You'll find some fun descents, and great jumps to reward you after the punishing climbs. There are rock lines, skinnies and great berms too! Riders can park and enter at the bottom of Lasalle Blvd or hit the main trail head behind the ball diamonds at the top of the hill. Restrooms and water are available near the top lots during the summer.
