The Lillie M. Evans Library is a place for everyone. The library has public access computers available; provides free Wi-Fi for mobile devices; hosts story times, school visits, and a variety of children’s programs; consistently provides adult programs, activities and computer classes; and is a great place to learn, read and study. The facility is ADA compliant and houses our collection which includes approximately 30,000 items. The library's homepage (lmelibrary.org) is a virtual library available 24/7 and includes a variety of online resources such as ebooks and eaudiobooks. The library is a member of the Resource Sharing Alliance which makes it easy for our users to search and to borrow materials from almost 200 libraries in central Illinois. We are also a member of Bike the Trail Library to Library (ritlibraries.org) and our bike repair station is conveniently located on the Rock Island Trail route that passes through Princeville.
