Cooler weather calls for delicious seasonal eats. Greater Peoria has plenty of classics and unique twists on fall flavors to enjoy. Try all these cozy and comforting treats while they last!

Busy Corner in Goodfield—Don’t eat just any pumpkin pie. Busy Corner processes fresh pumpkins and scratch makes their crust. You may forget about canned pumpkin and premade crust after tasting these pies.

Eli's Coffee Shop in Metamora, Morton, and Tremont—Step aside, pumpkin spice latte - Eli’s pumpkin pie miel takes the seasonal classic up a notch with the addition of local honey. Non-coffee drinkers will enjoy the candy apple twist and spiced caramel apple cider. Don’t leave without a seasonal treat such as a pumpkin brown butter scone or spiced apple knot.

Industry Brewing in Peoria—Yes, Industry Brewing has a traditional Marzen Lager on tap for Oktoberfest. You expect this from a local brewery, but you might not be aware that Industry has s’mores kits you can enjoy around their fire pits. Industry’s beer cheese is also a great way to warm up in the fall.

Intuition Coffee + Juice in Peoria—Sip on a Caramel Apple Latte, the CAMPFIRE S-O-N-G latte, or a Tamarind Refresher. For something heartier, try their Pie in the Sky smoothie, Apple Crisp Overnight Oats, or toasts topped with seasonal favorites like apple butter or pickled beets. Cozy up with a Poached Pear Spiced Tea or Houjicha + Spice Latte.

Minonk Chocolate Company in Minonk—Once you’ve had a candy apple “the right way” at Minonk Chocolate Company, you may never eat them anywhere else. These are only made fresh during the fall apple harvest with handcrafted caramel. Your only decision to make is between plain caramel or peanut-covered, proving sometimes simple is best.

Tadoughs in Peoria + Pekin—Tadoughs adds yummy pumpkin donuts to their potato-based donut lineup in the fall. Good news is you can taste fall flavors year-round with apple fritters and maple bacon long johns always on the menu.

Tanners Orchard in Speer—It’s not officially fall until you’ve made the drive to Tanners for fresh apple cider donuts. These donuts are known throughout the region as the best around. The Apple Bin Bakery also hand crafts pies, carmel apples and fudge.

Trefzger's Bakery in Peoria Heights—You might make up reasons to celebrate so you can order a cake from Trefzger’s fall menu. Caramel apple and pumpkin dessert cake are only available for a limited time.

Triple Dipple's in Chillicothe—Think about your favorite fall flavors - pumpkin, caramel, sweet potato - then add the indulgence of cheesecake and you’ve got Triple Dipple’s. Sweet potato, affectionately known as Sweet Tater, is available daily while seasonal favorites like pumpkin turtle rotate through the menu.

Yeni's Palarte in Peoria Heights—Take your ice cream palate from summer to fall with Yeni’s seasonal flavors. Apple crisp, s’mores and pumpkin spice horchata are a few fan favorites to try.
