SUMMER

Old Settlers Metamora  {Metamora}   //    June   //     Run, ride or relax – This carnival has it all!  You can join the Lincoln Douglas run, ride a ferris wheel, or relax and enjoy live music and delicious food.  

Spoon River Days   {Wyoming}   //    June   //   Think back to a time when kids rode their bikes downtown to the fair with change in pockets ready to soar on the carnival rides, savor the sweet clouds of cotton candy, and have a little independence. That’s the small town vibe you get during this festival.

Fourth of July  {Minonk}   //    July   //     It’s a whole weekend celebration of our nation’s independence. From inflatables and dunk tanks to ax throwing and a smoked BBQ competition. 

Marshall-Putnam County Fair   {Henry}   //    July   //   Celebrating over 100 years, the Marshall Putnam Fair festival has a wide range of activities and events. From Dueling Pianos to wine-tasting, kids activities and pageant performances,  this celebration will keep you entertained for days. Don’t miss the concert featuring a special musical guest!

Stark County Junior Fair   {Wyoming}   //    July   //     Experience livestock shows, one of the largest machinery displays, a pig scramble and so much more! Established in 1956, this long-running fair is always the last weekend in July and  runs for four days.

Woodford County 4-H Fair   {Eureka}   //    July   //     The University of Illinois Extension hosts this annual fair with a plethora of agricultural, artistic and science based competitions. The focus is to provide a positive youth environment where new passions are discovered. 

Marshall County Old Settlers Festival   {Lacon}   //    August   //    This festival is held at the marina in Lacon and features a unique festival theme each year. The festival also features a parade, face painting, bounce houses, makers market ending the nights with fireworks! 

Old Settlers Days   {Toulon}   //    August   //     Held the first week of August, it’s one of Toulon’s oldest traditions starting in 1877. Enjoy a fun-filled weekend in one of the local communities of the Greater Peoria Area.

Wenona Days   {Wenona}   //    August   //     Ready! Set! BURNOUT! Wenona Days of Thunder show off trucks and cars – phew, it gets smokey competing for the best burnout! But the fun doesn’t stop there, enjoy the thrill of barrel races, a grand parade, and fireworks. And let’s not forget the delicious homemade fried chicken that’s cooked to perfection.

AUTUMN

Labor Day Celebration    {Bradford}   //    September   //    Think classic carnival rides, outdoor movies, tractor pulls, live entertainment and delicious food. Come by for one or all four days of fun!  

Labor Day Celebration   {Toluca}   //    September   //    Four festive and fun days filled with carnival rides, bocce ball tournament, live bands, and a 2-mile parade. The Bocce Ball tournament has been held annually in Toluca since WWII. 

Stark County Fall Festival   {Wyoming}   //    September   //    A weekend of food, antiques, crafts, kids’ games, live music, and free entertainment that’s sure to have something for everyone. This event is made possible by the community’s volunteers, who are serving up country hospitality. 

Watermelon Festival  {Spring Bay}   //    Late September/ Early October   //   A delicious festival with rides, games, entertainment, vendors and more! This historic festival started in 1952 and boasted 10,000 attendee’s in 1982 at one point it was the largest festival in Illinois.
